’70s
RENOVA’S ORIGIN
In the ‘70s, after a decade from his debut in Wichita, Gianpiero Re founds his first company, RE SPA, where he first designs the CX250 pneumatic brake, the reference in thousands of applications in the converting industry.
2002
COMPANY CONSTITUTION
Following his own ideas and values, with the support of a specialized team, Gianpiero Re founds Renova srl.
2005
RENOVA FIRST MILESTONE
Never satisfied with the results achieved and with the desire to enhance the performance of its customers, Gianpiero Re designs the Turborex pneumatic brake, an eco-friendly solution featuring a multi-disc system and a double fan ventilation.
2015
RENOVA’S BREAKTHROUGH
Renova launches on the market two innovations:
- Duplex, roll ejector chuck, which obtained the international patent for its unique and revolutionary technology;
- Moviroll, the first roll pusher on the market with high performance eco-friendly lithium battery.
2017
GENERATIONAL CHANGE
Gianpiero Re entrust the management of the company to his son, Ugo Re, who takes on the role of CEO.
Renova’s grows bigger and changes location, moving to its actual headquarter in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan.
2018
ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
Photovoltaic panels
Renova believes in a green approach and promotes environmental sustainability by using renewable energies for its headquarter.
Furthermore, we joined Erion organization for the management of waste and WEEE disposal.

SYSTEM INTEGRATION AND INDUSTRY 4.0
Renova uses advanced technologies that allow the automatic sharing of information between each department for greater efficiency in all phases of the supply chain.
2021
CONTINUOUS INNOVATION
Renova further invests in the Research&Development department and creates three new product lines:
- Moviroll MRE XS, the new compact battery roll pusher
- Movicart cart mover

ISO 9001
Renova wants to generate, continuous improvement, increase its efficiency, reduce its costs, and create more value for its customers. That is why every year we are committed to receive the ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification, a confirmation of our ability to respond consistently and exhaustively to our customer’s expectations.
PATENTS
When it comes to people safety, Renova is always on the front line to design innovative solutions. Our technical team is constantly working on new industrial solution to our customers problem. To certify the originality of our products, we have requested the “patented” certification from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Italian Republic.
MADE IN ITALY
All products are 100% designed and assembled on site in Renova’s Italian headquarter, thus confirming the “Made in Italy” label as an authentic quality certification. This also allows Renova to work quickly and at competitive prices while keeping the highest standards and to be able to support customers with flexible and personalized projects.

Banca IFIS, in partnership with Ca’ Foscari University, has analyzed more than 62.000 SME and selected 1.000 Stellar SME that have been able to look beyond, to grow and distinguish themselves in the market.
2020
Leader of Growth
Il Sole 24 Ore, in collaboration with Statista, has published the “Leader della Crescita” ranking, dedicated to the Italian companies with the best performances in the previous three years (2016-2019), placing Renova S.r.l. in 397th place with an annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.57%.
2021
EXPORT CHAMPIONS
Il Sole 24 Ore, in collaboration with Statista, has chosen among 9000 small and medium sized Italian companies the best 200 exporter companies for their innovation, stubbornness, sustainability and resilience despite the pandemic, the rising costs of shipping and raw materials.

GIFCO
We are part of GIFCO, an association that groups italian manufacturers of corrugated cardboard intended for packaging, food and non-food products. This membership allows us to stay informed about this industry and its technical aspects.
FEFCO
We are a FEFCO member. FEFCO represents the european industry of corrugated packaging and this membership is an opportunity for us to analyze, influence, promote and develop its image along with them.
