The CX250 is a monodisc air-cooled brake with modular caliper system, reaching a maximum torque of 960 Nm and a heat dissipation of 4,5kW. The Combirex 250 pneumatic brake ensures high sensitivity and constant web tension control throughout the whole process.
The reference in the converting industry
The CX 250 is the most copied pneumatic brake in the world: it was first designed by Gianpiero Re, Renova’s founder, in the ‘80s.
In 2005 Mr. Re applied an innovative axial fan ventilation on the CX mono disc brakes, which increased the cooling speed, reducing pad wear and improving web tension quality, compared to previous brakes with no cooling fan.
Today, the Renova’s CX pneumatic brake is the result of continuous research and improvements.
Great care is taken to select the best materials in order to always provide the highest performance and reduce component’s wear.
MODULAR CALIPER SYSTEM
Different caliper configurations are available (up to 6 calipers) according to the torque required and on/off distributor for a manual selection of the calipers
